The origin of Sleepy Cat

This is the cat who inspired Sleepy Cat!

Her name is Kitty and she lives with my mom. While still living at home, a tremendous rain storm was hitting our region, and I was inspired to write. Despite all the noise, this cat would not be disturbed and slept comfortably on the bean bag chair the whole time.

Upon reading that poem, Garvin heard a melody to match a tune we were working on…
And it became Sleepy Cat!
